We listen, support, and empower
Feeling stuck? Overwhelmed? Unsure what comes next?
You're not alone — and you don't have to figure it out by yourself.
At Thriving Within, LLC, we offer therapy, mental health services, and assessments that honor each person's unique story, strengths, and lived experience. We believe change unfolds in relationship — with yourself, with others, and within the broader contexts that have shaped who you are.
Our approach is individualized, trauma-informed, and healing-centered, grounded in the understanding that many of the struggles people carry are not personal failures — they are often shaped by systems, relationships, and experiences beyond your control. Our work begins by understanding you: your history, your values, and what you want your life to feel like.
We support individuals 18+ who may be navigating depression, anxiety, trauma responses, stress, substance misuse, life transitions, or identity-related challenges. We welcome people of all backgrounds, identities, and experiences, including those who have felt unseen, unheard, or underserved by traditional systems of care. Everyone deserves a space where they can heal, grow, and be fully themselves.
Eli Michael, LCSW, CDC I (they/them)
Therapy with Eli is collaborative and client-centered — you set the direction, and the work is shaped around what you need.
Some people come to explore the past, make sense of the present, or envision a different future. Others come to build concrete skills for managing anxiety, depression, stress, or trauma responses. Many come to process and heal from difficult or traumatic experiences in a space that feels safe and affirming.
Eli draws from integrative clinical skills of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and somatic approaches. These modalities are applied through a relational, feminist, and multicultural lens — with attention to the cultural, generational, and systemic contexts that shape each person's experience and inform the path towards change. Eli has completed Perinatal Mental Health training and is actively working toward certification in perinatal and postpartum mental health.
